These pumps have the proven reliability you've come to know and trust in PondMAX pumps.
But these pumps are unique!
They are designed to run directly from 12 V DC current - plug them straight into your solar panels!
OR run them on 240 V AC (mains) power by attaching the transformer that comes with them. The transformer safely converts the 240 V AC to 12 V DC. No risk of dangerous 240 V mains power leaking into your system!
Even if running on 240 V power, the pump and the cable that is submerged with it are only running 12 V through them. Very safe!
We carry two sizes of these great DC pumps - the EV4910-DC, with about 4600 Lph max pumping capacity; and the EV3910-DC, with about 3800 Lph max capacity. See below for details on each of them.
We also carry a 10 m (~32') extension cable designed for these pumps. With the 10 m (~32') lead that already comes with the pump, this extension gives you more options for where you can place the pump in relation to the power source.

Amazing little pump Pondmax EV4910-DC
“ Hello Murray just to let you know I have used this pump (Pondmax EV4910-DC) in my aquaponics system for 19 months now it is my primary pump for my System it has run continuously for 19 months, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I have run this pump on 240v (using the transformer supplied) and from my 12v Solar back up system, this pump has not missed a beat at all during this time. The dual voltage makes this pump an excellent choice for an aquaponics system. And for the job it does it draws very little amperage so it is well suited to a 12v Solar/Deep Cycle Battery System. ”
