Gday Murray, having completed the most recent FlowMedia commercial training up in Brisbane, we (michelle & myself) would like to let you know how much we enjoyed it . Still ‘pumped’ & working steadily after working hours, putting our buiness plan togeather. Thanks to you , your team & Family along with Wilson we’re at a great starting point to assess the variety of sizes & opportunities a commercial system may create. Like all great interest’s, particularly buisiness, the more you learn ,the more you realise what you don’t know. Looking forward to hearing & sharing from our other course participants (new friends) aswell.
Wishing your family all the best,
    Thanks again,
    Ralph & Michelle

    Hi Ralph,
I have started to upload materials into the PLATINUM members area and I will be sending out emails to you all soon with your log in details. Must get a bit of info in there first. I will have back the audio of all the talks soon from Brendon (the sound guy) and then we will get started on the long job of transcribing all of the talks/lectures for posting into the Platinum members area. Thanks for attending and I am very happy that you found it to be useful.

    Hi Everybody,
I really enjoyed meeting everybody on the course.
The German People recognize the potential dangers of Genetically Engineered Foods and have acted, so why don’t we?
Aren’t we as clever as the Germans?
“In Germany, massive resistance to genetically engineered (GE) foods, both among politicians and the general public, has caused chemical giant BASF to close its German biotech division.”
Down but not out, guess what, they moved to a less caring environment.
Raleigh, North Carolina, USA of course.
Wake up Australians before even aquaponics is corrupted by GE crops.
    Cheers Chris

Hi Murray, after 2 weeks i have learned a lot and commend you on this movement. I am a new farmer and have been inspired to grow my crops through Aquaponics. In addition this has freed up the rest of acres to grow a beautiful fruit orchard as well.

I was wondering if you had any advice for a new farmer about where to purchase tanks for my new aquaponics system I want to do a 4-8 grow bed system with a 500 to 1000 gallon fish tank. However needless to say to purchase the tanks form Austrailla is not very practical for me since the shipping costs would be extreme.

Of course want my money to go far so any tip or hints would be appreciated. Really looking forward to the new DVD as well. Thanks :)

BTW Murray I own a Solar PV Company and if you need help on anything PV i can help..

  14. Murray says:

    Hi Aaron,
    Where are you located?

  15. Aaron Nelson says:

Hi Murray, I am actually in California, USA Specifically located in Southern California. However the wonders of the NET make it possible to share wonderful information :)

  16. Wayne Green says:

    Hi Murray

We are setting up a system here on the farm and getting ready to do the growbeds. Do you have plans for the growbeds with the ply sheeting. Also could you send me a price on the 5m fibreglass beds that you sell as well. That would be much appreciated.

    Cheers Wayne

  17. Murray says:

Hi Wayne, We are not taking orders for the 5 mtr trough right now. We are finding at the moment they are not viable for us to make any more at that pricing which we have held for 5 years. I know….put the price up !!! Well it is better to build from timber and use a lining. Much more cost affective way to go. We have built several troughs and beds using this method and it works very well.
At our training courses we show how to do this.
Look on our website. In a few days the liner will be listed for sale available cut to length and able to be posted.

  18. Wayne Green says:

    Thanks Murray
Do you have info on the design for the beds. I took a number of pics at the course but didn’t take note of the type of ply you used or how you managed the support on the underside of the flow beds. Plus do you have any thoughts on whether to go with a number of say 5m lengths beds joined or just a few very long beds. Any pros or cons from your experience.

  19. Aaron Nelson says:

Hi Murray, how far off is the commercial section from being done? I sure would like to learn a little more before i pull the trigger on my commercial system. I look forward to hearing from you soon. thanks,,

  20. Clem Grieger says:

    Hi Murray,

I have ordered the SENEYE system for measuring Ph. etc. I notice that the min Ph that this system claims to be able to measure is 6.4 ( 6.4 to 9 ph). That is a little bit disturbing to me since I note that you say that a system functioning properly will trend lower in ph and 6.4 is about the operating point. Is this really low enough to be useful in monitoring system ph especially in new systems which are settling down and will typically have ph movements? Can you comment please?
